Just exploring the map and I finally came across my last ally that I could recruit. It is a shame I found him after I beat the game because he seem to be a powerful ally to call into battle. I do like that the game characters acknowledge that you defeated the main enemy in the game. Thought that was cool.

I'm about 37 hours in and haven't done much but explore the world. I did form a grudge with a castle or two and pretty much created my own story line about getting revenge for the Iga clan lol. For me, a game is well crafted when I can just get lost in the world and not even need the story-line until later on. Devs did a great job with this one. Its a high tier game, up there with the likes of RDR2 and The Witcher 3 for sure. Going left field, I wish CyberPunk was crafted with love like this as I REALLY wanted to get into that game (just a random thought lol!).

I'm enjoying people's impressions. I will get around to playing this once I complete the AC Valhalla DLC, AC Odyssey (I think I'm like halfway through this giant map) and AC Mirage.

I'm guessing that should happen next decade.

the game was meh for me.

I'm enjoying the game, but there are some things that stink about it. I think the extra time they spent to fix up the game was well worth the wait as you can tell it made a world of difference. They made it so difficult to travel as there are way too many hills/mountain landscape where it makes it so hard to climb up that you spend more time trying to find a road to get to areas. Graphically on the PC the game is absolutely stunning and can't believe how nice it looks. The story is kind of losing me as I don't feel like there is anything pulling me in at this point unlike the other AC games.

The travelling through mountains trying to get to some places is the most annoying thing about the game.

The DLC was mighty short, just a couple of hours worth of stuff, but hey it was FREE. The traveling don't bother me most of the time. But I also own dozens of safe houses all over the map, so I just fast travel near the mission area and travel the rest of the way. With Naoe I don't even use roads most of the time, I just run straight up the mountain and make my own short cut. If the ground have some sort of grass cover she usually can run up it no matter how steep it looks.

This game is pure fire! I just watched the Ghost of Yotei state of play and it made me want to come over here lol.

Just started this one last night (I know, blasphemy to do so on the exact day that Yotei came out) and it's fun so far.

Also a beautiful looking game.
