Well, I posted before that I had some dead pixel problems and Gamestop told me to send it back to Sony. Sony turned around and kept asking me if I was sure that Gamestop was not going to take it back. !!!

This totally set me off, so I wrote a letter to the district manager of Gamestop explaining my ping pong match. Today I receive a message that Gamestop is going to replace the unit and make sure everything is okay before I leave!! This is the first time I have ever had a hardware problem and it was nice to see Gamestop step up and respond in a positive manner! Totally feeling better about my purchase now!

Dead pixels are very common on LCD monitors. You'll be hard-pressed to get your hands on a PSP that doesn't have any. My PSP has 3, but I can live with them.

Dead pixels are very common on LCD monitors. You'll be hard-pressed to get your hands on a PSP that doesn't have any. My PSP has 3, but I can live with them.

It maybe common but whether I am wrong or not, I do not find this acceptable. Especially when I have seen ones that are perfect.

I didn't say you were wrong. You paid the $250 dollars, you are entitled to a PSP in mint condition.

Its cool, I was not saying that you were. I just feel that everyone paid a lot of money for the system and it should be the norm that they are perfect and not the exception.
