Not even close. I have over 17 gigs on my computer and then I have over 150 cd's that aren't saved on my computer.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

you got all that music on your PC and I bet you don't even listen to half of those songs. It just gets to be a waste of space on your PC after awhile.

No i do listen to them that's why I have them saved on the computer. Anything that I don't listen to gets deleted. Even If I put the songs that I listen to every single day, the psp wouldn't be near able to hold it.

Pretty much. I listen to music all the time I'm on the computer, I have a lot of songs saved onto my xbox, I have over 150 cd's in my room and I listen to those if I'm in there, I have my cd player around if I leave. It's not 24/7 but I listen to music a lot.

Of course, I will be playing games on it, but I am not getting PSP for the sole purpose of playing games. lol I stopped buying handhelds at Gameboy Advance. So if I buy a PSP, I would want it to eliminate the purpose of an Ipod.

I don't really want whole lot of high tech crap, I just want something that I can get the music off my computer onto a player so I can listen to it. Does the PSP hold alot of songs? Do you guys like this new feature?
Then don't buy an IPod if you're looking to save dough. Buy a 40 GB Creative Nomad Zen Xtra for around $225. It has better sound than an IPod, just as much capacity, and you'll have $175 in your pocket toward the purchase of a PSP than if you bought a 40 GB IPod for $400.

                            http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-128&depa=0

Or you can get the 30 GB model for $200 and have $200 toward the purchase of a PSP.

Trust me: The Zen Xtra is the best MP3 player on the market, features for dollar. The IPod is a nice unit, but it's VERY overpriced.

                            Good luck.

                            Take care,

I listen to music for almost the entire eight or nine hours I work per day at my desk, so my 40 GB Zen Xtra with nearly 5,000 songs on it gets quite a workout. A great piece of electronic equipment.
