If that price range is true, I'm going to be real tempted to buy it sooner than later. I figure with the exchange rate it will be around $400.

I can't wait until E3 when we get more information about the system and price.

$400 dollars is pushing my price range but it is very tempting, hopefully the price will drop asap after release.

400$ canadian is okay considering I paid 600$ for my ps2 back in the days...
Anyway I am keeping my money for ps3... As I can't risk buying the inferior system this time around

I dont care about the price point really (I'm only speaking for myself, I know there are peeps out there that have to live on a tight budget).

It can be $400, sh!t it can even be Five Hundy and I'm still getting it.

Bingo.
I'll be in line on launch day, regardless of price. The same probably goes for the PS3, although I'm reconsidering it because I haven't touched my PS2 in months.

Microsoft is banking on customers like yourself!!!

I think even people on a tight budget, once they see all the commercials and signs at their local videogame store will be really tempted to buy the system right away.

But for people concerned about price, it's important to remember you still gotta buy games and maybe add-ons like controllers, memory cards, game guides, etc...

The latest projections are...

Xbox 360 - Fall, worldwide launch within a couple of weeks.

PS3 - March '06 in Japan. Fall '06 in North America.

thanks, I had it backwards. I though xbox was 06 and ps3 was fall. Either way I am buying something in fall. Whatever one is out first.
