I agree on the game world. Much bigger than SA and it's almost too big. I have enough trouble finding my way around SA as it is.Comment

That's what I was thinking also. I wouldn't want to play a game where the world is so big that it literally takes an hour to get from point A to point B. Like CM mentioned above, Rockstar will most likely (hopefully) revamp their physics, graphics, particle effects, et cetera, and start off with a game that is just a little bit bigger than SA.Originally posted by camulosI agree on the game world. As for where, it doesn't really matter. I think the furthest back they could go would be the 50s because people still associate with the culture from the 50s (music, clothes, style, et cetera). Anything before that would probably get stale unless it had a great story to it (ie: Mafia). Really though, with Rockstar it doesn't matter. Wherever and whenever they go, the culture surrounding the characters will be awesome. For me personally, I would like to see a setting in the 60's or early 70s.

The modern NY is a bit too blah. NYC back in the 70s was pretty much a hellhole. It would be perfect for a GTA game.
If you don't know what NYC was like back then I suggest renting the first Death Wish movie.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
