Man, I picked up DAoC and after two days back in the game it's like putting on an old pair of shoes. Feelin' very comfy right now. Improved graphics engine, instanced dungeon quests, and a much improved ability to solo among many other improvements since I left a few years ago. Created a Heretic on Alb/Gareth (classic server) and I'm level 10 so far. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely for me!

Well I played the free trial of WoW...and I'm hooked. Headed over to BB to pick up the full version...I'm such a sucka.

If you get on the Gurubashi Server my character name for alliance side is : "Economist"

there are a few things i dont like about guild wars.

1. tool bar only hold eight powers. that really sucks.

2. everyone's character class will look almost identical.

3. collision detection isnt right. sometimes i try and turn a corner and i have to give an inch or two of cushion between a rock/wall/whatever to get around it.

4. no jumping

i think thats it. i love everything else so far

www.thottbot.com and www.goblinworkshop.com can come in very handy for items, quests, skills, etc.

Advice for a rookie: Try joining parties a lot and just asking people about things you don't understand, I've been playing for a few months and still ask a lot of questions.
