He had to have missed a ton of quests. Doing Hellfire and Zang will net you level 66-67 now at the very least. This is without doing the dungeons as well. Experience needed to lvl was cut drastically for those levels.

I went 80-84 at hellfire and I didnt do about 10 at Zang, I did no instances. I did a little less than 50% in Nagrand. about 30 quests or so. Im almost at 66. I didnt do 100% at Nagrand cause I wanted to hot a few more zones since Ill be going to the new spot at 68, I also Like when yu get to a new zone and hit like 15 immidiate easy quests its like a free level in like 2 hours of play.

Yep, I've found that after clearing Hellfire and Zangarmarsh one is just about ready to leave Outland. The hunting quests in Nagrand maybe a few quick ones in Terrokar are all that is needed to get to 68.

Been leveling a goblin warrior in the beta and if you guys think leveling is fast now, well lol.

How is the goblin? Have you obtained a mount yet? I had heard they were going to have some sort of a go-kart looking mount.

OK correction here is what Ive done exactly

Hellfire: 76/80
Zand: 43/54
Nagrand 35/75


I havent messed with Terr forest or anywhere else just those 3 spots.


Also for the guy in Cataclysm, should I wait to get my next flying mount or will it stay the same? I have 1000 gold I saved up, I believe its 4500 right? For the fast flying mount. id that the same or will it get cheaper?

Yeah I've got the mounts and yeah, you get go-carts.

I wish they had a flyer like a plane or rocket. I guess I'll make whatever I roll on Live an engineer so I can make the helicopter, just to keep that mechanical theme going. The class is pretty cool.

The racials are rockets launched from the belt that do damage, and a rocket propelled forward jump (these share a cooldown). There is also the ability to call a servant that allows bank access. The passive racials are an automatic 1% increase in attack and casting speed, a 15 point boost in Alchemy and you automatically get the best discount at any merchant regardless of faction.

Far as I know, prices for **** flying training will be the same. For another 5000g or so you can upgrade to 310% flying, but you can do that on the live build now as well.

LOL, man that fits the Goblin class perfectly. Thanks for sharing the screens. Look forward to leveling a Goblin when Cata hits later this year. Racials sound pretty fair I suppose. Now I just gotta figure out which class I want to roll with.

so they added like another level of fying speed? wow that must be crazy fast. Last I played, it was 70 tou could fly, then you could save up forever and get the fast mount.

my friend told me once you get to nrthrend in LK, you had to save up again once you go to 80 and get cold weather flight or something like that where you can fly in northrend. Is that still the case or is it just faster flying now? I notice we can fly at 60 now, can we immediately fly at 68 in northrend or do we need to get better skill?

You'll still need to get cold weather flying to fly in Northrend. It sucks I know, but at least you can get it at level 68 (IIRC, it used to be level 77 when WotLK was released) and you don't have to have the 280% flight training to get cold weather. You can fly through Northrend on a slow flyer.

As for that next level of flight speed, it's been in the game for years, but only the best pvpers and raiders got a chance to experience it. Now everyone can get it for a fee. If I were one of those guys who played hard at getting a 310% mount, I'd be kinda miffed about it to be honest. Maybe they'll add an even faster mount or something for those hard core players.

also, cant we fly in the old world in cataclysm now? Or did they scrap that Idea. I think it will be so cool flying through stranglethorn and stormwind,etc.

Yeah, there were special mounts, but that's no longer the case. Now you get spend the money and any 280 mount flies at 310.

Yes, you will be able to fly in the old world now(you'll have to pay for that too but it's cheap), and yeah it's pretty cool, especially with all the zone changes.

I really wish we could all pick a server and play together come cataclysm. Worst case scenario is that you really enjoy it and want to xfer a toon over which is only $25.

Hey man, what are your thoughts on a RP server. I ask because like I said earlier, I have 1 guy on a Regular server, and that server seems laggy and not a lot of people, but the RP server has people all over the place its incredible. they are all a bit out there, but they are there none the less.

does your current server have alot of people? If so Ill do the character transfer this week and we can roll. My Hunter is at 66 and DK is at 64 about to hit 65. If you want to come over to the RP server im at, its Moon Guard server.

We should all get on a server and run a guild. I really need someone to teach me how to Raid and do all of the important stuff.

edit--for what its worth, I have never experienced like the end of the game. Ive never done Onyxia, Black Tenple, Killed the lich king or any of that stuff. I would like to start doing it. I mean whats the sense of grinding all these levels if I cant "beat the game". Ive just never been around people who wanted to do that. My buddy that got me into it was content running Kara for like 2 years lol.

I'm not looking to transfer toons but just start outright with a new character.

no its not PVP, you know Ill transfer my people to your server, even though there are lots of ppl, they all RP so you try and get someone to help with a quest they try and go through this role playing stuff and Im not really into it. I just went to the server because of my friend and he isnt even there anymore.

I have a good group of people that I play with on Skywall - Horde side. Most of them have been together for quite a few years and enjoy the pvp aspect of the game( which means we usually win ). Dont let that fool you into thinking they cant pve either-as they can clear ICC 25m as well.

The pug situation for BGs sucks as the alliance normally wins, but the guild usually has a premade group going into battlegrounds and its pretty fun.

I just returned there not too long ago after raiding with a top 10 NA guild but got very burnt out. At the end of the day I had much better gear, but still no friends...it was all about the Xs and Os and missed playing with friends.

I would much rather play with friends that play to have fun and be a step or 2 behind the elite powercurve, versus be one of the elite and just another XX,XXX dps versus a real person.

These people mainly play late at night since most of us work, so if you are a morning or afternoon person, expect it to be very quiet.

If anyone would like to start a fresh level 1 over here, I have the funds to get you plenty of bags and start up coin...but at the end of the day it doesnt matter where we go.

This is a competant group of peeps that have been together since before Vanilla wow and played together on War and AoC....they have their stuff together when it comes to raiding and pvp....nice peeps if anyone is interested.
