    Medic, in a way.

Basic breakdown of the healing classes:

Esper - Longer-ish range than the Medic, shorter than Spellslinger (skill range of ~25-30m for Esper.) Light armor. Can use targeted heals. Closest class to tab-targeting healers in other games. Good sustain, as you have a Heal over Time builder for combo points and also a HoT spender. Pretty decent burst healing. Light armor.

Medic - Shortest Range of all healers, as most skills fall in the 15m range. No targeted heals. Great sustained healing, as the builder and spender are decent heals and very spammable. Not too much in the way of burst healing, though longer cooldown skills has good shield restoration. Medium armor.

Spellslinger - Longest range (25-35m, one skill up to 40m.) Narrower telegraphs compared to the other two. One targeted heal, but its your basic heal. Not much in terms of spammable heals for sustain. Runes of Protection is the absorption shield, which I believe you were talking about. Great burst heals.

Here's a pretty decent guide. You may have seen this one.

Ended up getting to 50 today after slowing down on my playing time lately. Looking back, I only hated 1 zone and that was near the end so it wasn't too bad.

Now I'm debating on leveling a 2nd tank or leveling something on Dominion for a change of scenary

Grats. Which zone did you end up hating?

Mine was Farside... Also the last zone or two, but I didn't do enough in them to make a definitive call on if I hated them.

Also, this ******* World Cup really killed my playtime D: I've been trying to squeeze some in every now and again, but I think I may have to chalk this up as a loss until my World Cup fever is over.

Engineer at 50 with no costume pieces equipped or dyes used and the gear came from just questing.

I'm really hoping the turrets become only a PVP thing as they're fairly annoying in PVE (bad pathing, ignores commands, grabs extra mobs for unknown reasons).

Got my Engineer to Level 10. I would be playing way more but usually have my newborn clinging on to me. I'm experimenting with controls and even managed to clear a whole zone just using the mouse. Great combat though and the fun factor blows ESO away, but then so does bird watching. I have only quested so looking forward to seeing dungeons/PvP/Housing. Will definetely be resubbing and has saved me some bucks by mostly avoiding the Steam sale.

A bit late to your post but leveling from 1 to 50, I had about 4 platinum (currency is platinum > gold > silver > copper) before buying some house decor stuff and mount stuff.

Right now, the top sell order for CREDD has a listing of 4 platinum. I'm not sure how easy/hard it will be to gain the currency with the dungeons and/or playing the AH; I've been slacking a bit lately with Wildstar.

I picked this up a month ago and it is my first true mmo. Honestly I barely played it the first month since it to me (being a first MMO for me) was bewildering with all the stuff going on. Since then I have been playing steadily with my wife and I'm having a great time now. I'm level 17 Exile Granok Soldier and looking for anyone playing that can help get my wife and I into raid's and dungeons. We are on the Caretaker server but we will join another if anybody wants to join up.

Sorry for the necro, but Wildstar is coming to Steam on the 9th as a F2P game. I've been playing Tera, having fun, might give Wildstar a try.
