Sorry to hear about this... Hope everything turns out okay, Justin. You and your comrades are in my thoughts.

That's not him. That story says nothing about any American Soldiers being wounded. It talks about one U.S. Soldier being killed via non-combat related wounds, but that wouldn't be Justin either.

If there's no news story about his injury, it must not be very serious. With my buddy with the shrapnel (see above), there was no mention of it in the media, as it was not a serious injury at all.

Re: Everyone, please keep Shortsoldier in your prayers

Wow. I feel obligated to clear the air here. First of all, I am really, truly flattered that everyone is so concerned about me. My vehicle was hit with an IED last week, but I received no injuries other than a headache and some squishy pants. I will receive a Combat Action Badge out of it, but no Purple Heart yet. I really am honored that everyone is so concerned, but these types of close calls are going to happen a LOT in the next ten months. If something truly bad happens, MAC65UNITY, whom I have been very close friends with since the beginning of high school, will inform you. It will save everyone a lot of stress if he is the official bearer of bad news. In other news, I'm doing fine. I get to check my e-mail and OS every other day at least and my morale is high. Thanks for the concern, everyone. Don't forget that Sportznut02 is also in Iraq.
            Justin.
