Re: Car Picture Thread
I agree 100%. Before buying an expensive car like that, buy a house. It's a wiser, much more sound investment.Originally posted by bkrich83I guess it's all about priorities. But before I buy a ride like that and invest that kind of money on something that will depreciate that much, I'd buy real esate, and get something that will appreciate.Comment

Re: Car Picture Thread
I still don't think leasing is the great deal that it's made out to be. Sure, when you buy a car, you pay that 20K (arbitrary), we'll say, and after you pay that 20,000, you've got a used car. If you lease, say you pay 15 grand for 3 years, after you've paid that, you've got nothing.
Cars, in general, are just a poor investment. Real estate is a different story, though..Originally Posted by Briman123

WOW! I wish my house payment was $900. Mine is almost $1300.Originally posted by ExtremeGamerHoly mother of God! I pay 900 for my house.
I agree w/ Extreme on the car deal. They are not worth spending a crazy amount on.
I drive a '97 Chevy Cavalier which is paid off and my wife drives a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan which we have a payment of $400 a month for the next 1 1/2 years.
Once the van is paid off, I'm getting a used SUV w/ 1/2 the monthly payment we make on the van to save some money.
The older we get, we learn that cars aren't an investment and just money hogs.Comment

My house payment is $850, but we are going to be moving soon so that will go up for sure.
very true. I have wasted soooo much money on cars over the years. I have already decided we are keeping the cars we have now and paying them off.The older we get, we learn that cars aren't an investment and just money hogs.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Still I would kill for a 1300 a month payment. Hell in 2001 when we moved out of our apartment in to our first house we were paying 1800 a month.Comment
