I did however send a PM to TJ before the infraction and explained (just in case he didn't already know) that I was just playing around with him, but he never responded.

Yeah...I didn't have a clue what you were talking about when I read your PM. Then, I did some digging to find out what you were referring to.

Guys, the way it's always been is that infractions are up to the discretion of the moderator who gives it. If Millennnium wants to go back and reverse the infraction, he has that option. But rarely if ever will Steve or Mike go back and reverse an infraction another mod gave. They've chosen the moderators for this forum based on their trust in our judgment.

Please...let it go, or I will just lock this thread up. Believe me...I'd love nothing more than for the Land Rover in the Water thread to go away forever, but I'm really trying hard not to have to do that. You guys are making it harder.

Lot's of whining about infractions lately. I suggest letting the mods do their job and stop the whining (or PM a mod asking about the infraction). Being a mod on a site this diverse isn't as easy as some think it might be.

And for a word from me, even though I know I am not required to do so:

I don't give out a lot of infractions. I am more of a "PM first, infraction later " kind of guy. In this case, I saw a member take what I thought was a backhanded shot at a mod who previously gave him an infraction. It wasn't topic of the thread, it was the manner in which it was brought about.

That being said, before ANY of you started your own theories about what the red card was for, it was resolved. Baumy PMed me AND TJ and explained himself. So, the next time any of you care to worry about who gets red carded and who doesn't, think to yourselves that there may be things going on in PMs that you don't know. Some of us know how to handle things privately on the internets.
