I was born and raised in Mississippi. It get's hot enough to make you cuss when you go outside. I swear when that heat and humidity hits you there you'll scream...****!!!!

Now, the Texas heat is a different animal. It's more of the dry heat here but still hot enough to make you cuss. Winter must've lasted about 3 weeks this year. I think I turned the A/C on first in March...lol

no kidding. I have no sympathy for Texans and Arizonans with their dry 100 degree heat. I'd much rather have that than 95 degree heat with high humidity. Oh well...only 4 more months of it for Alabama

I feel ya man, today I was just standing outside, not doing anything. And sweating like crazy, like 93 degrees with a high humidity. The south has an absolute brutal summer.

Woodland Hills. Man thats so far out of LA its not funny. Could consider the area towards the subburbs though since its a nice drive away from everything.

What area of TO are you from? I'm going to be living in campus housing for the summer, but I'm going to be looking for an apartment in the High Park/Etobicoke area (most likely).

Man, Etobicoke is pretty far from the campus by transit, and it's pretty brutal to drive in the city during rush hour. I got to U of T and commute from East York. Anyway, it was ridiculously hot here again today reached felt like 103 with the humidity. Supposed to get a good bit of rain tomorrow so things will cool down.

I figured if we got a place on the Bloor line, I'd be okay. My fiancee works in Oakville, so we figured Etobicoke was a good compromise. I'd rather live in High Park though.

It's been ridiculously hot here in NY as well, though it's cooled off quite a bit tonight. I'm just hoping things aren't last year when we had LOWS in the 80s with 95% humidity. It's not good when there's fog outside and above 80.

totally off topic, but i'll try to put it into topic but there are 4 locked threads under the OS neighbourhood section, and all by the same person.. i think thats funny...

now, to put it into topic, we know a guy who was able to get us the computer we needed for the central air/furnace so im pumped about that..but it still is hot as heck.. my house is 28 C right now, at least its like over 30 like yesterday

Pitt i'm not in "Toronto" per se. It's kinda hard to explain, I find Toronto to be one of those cities that doesn't have a true cut-off area. Nonetheless i've been in the surrounding environs all my life. I'm in Pickering at the moment. It's about a half hour drive by highway to the Downtown Core. I end up going downtown once every few months for my eye tests and such.

Ok, back to topic, at least it wasn't as hot as yesterday!

So 30 C is 86 F

To convert Fahrenheit to the Rankine scale use

T(R) = T(F) + 459.6

SoMiss....Woodland Hills is probably the hottest part of the LA area along with Chatsworth and Pasadena.

I live in Sherman Oaks, and I'll gladly give up this "perfect LA weather".
