dude, its fake.. read between the lines. its without a doubt a scam. please tell me youre not this naive?

I am not this naive, thats why I didnt fall for it, like I said I was sceptical from the jump with his first e-mail but I figured I would see whre it led, and hes only making it more obvious, but I didnt want to deny him the products without a second opinion...making sure I wasnt being too over cautios and reading too into it...which apparently I was not. Here is his lates attempt to get me to mail it...

thanks for your soonest reply,you can go and ship the package as instructed by paypal and send them the tracking number since the money has been deducted from my account...you are protected by paypal so you need not be afraid.just go and ship it and them send the tracking number to [email protected] and your account will be credited..i don\t know about the fraud you are talking about...ship to my son's address i gave to you and make sure you do that today before the post office closes for the day.

Here is basically how my response will be-- Sir, I regret to inform you that after this constant communication and questionable practices as to the shipping and the "confirmation" e-mail from "PayPal" I am going to have to refuse shipping it. I have also reported you to PayPal and eBay.

When you relist it, make sure you have the "must make immediate payment" (or something like that) box checked. That will make it so these Nigerian scammers can't buy your item. I had that happen and I just canceled the deal and re-listed it (also checked the box I mentioned above) and everything was fine then.

You don't need to refund any money since no money is actually involved. Just relist the item. Just reply back to his email with "**** OFF !!! " too. That is what I normally do.

Tell the guy that you NEVER got paid, which is true. either that, or ignore him. i wouldnt waste anymore time on a scammer unless you want to waste his time too and pretend to go through with it and have some fun.

also, he's lieing about paypal protecting you. thats only if you send to a confirmed address, which would not be any place outside of the US, canada, or UK. a confirmed address is also the address that shows up on the paypal transaction. this goes for everyone, never ship to a diff. address than what paypal asks for. even if its an old lady buying something for her grandson in another state.

also, post this in the ebay forums where paypal is at. maybe theres a report feature that lets you get all your funds back and will suspend the scam buyer

Haha that would be fun to mess with him, but yea, the first thing i did was check my account to see if any money had come though because there was no way I would let the package leave me without payment.

I am trying to sell my PS2 and all the games and accessories in a bundle on eBay, a guy used the Buy it now and we have been e-mailing back and forth because he wants me to send it to Nigeria when my auctions specifically said shipping to US only...then after some talking he said he would send 300$ and I could keep the difference after shipping...then I recieved an e-mail saying"

Is this real? I never had to deal with shipping before I got the money before...so I am really thinking this guy is trying to pull one over on me. I just want some 2nd opinions, I will post some of the e-mails from him earlier, I suspected from the jump that it may be a scam because it sounded a little odd.

Don't do it, it's a scam. I had someone do that to me 1 month ago from Nigeria.
