they have forums where you can get experienced people involved on your scam bait. like if ncoffey wants to scam them, he could find a willing party to continue.

The best ones are the ones with video and audio, and even pictures. Pretty scary stuff considering it spans all across the globe. its not just nigerians running around doing all of this stuff

Well I re-posted it today, we'll see if I draw any more scammers, I did the thing where they have to pay when they win...hopefully that will help.

I've actually gotten into this stuff. So far I've gotten one person to leave me a message on my "phone". I have had a lady die on me only to have her doctor and her bank email me and tell me that I will now have to pay for her hospital bill, and I will also have to Western Union them $3,500 to start the transaction so I can receive my $5 million that she promised me. But I'm gullible so I go along with it.

This stuff is a lot of fun if you have some time to dedicate to it.

Someone emailed me from 'ebay' telling me I need to log into my account..I clicked the link, which I shouldn't have..The page popped up, but my SN & password didn't automatically come up, so I knew somthing was fishy..Then I checked the link address on my browser & it was a bad ebay copy..The ******* wanted to get into my account to sell items he doesn't have to ppl, ruin my perfect feedback, then leave me with the blame..Seriously, I would love 5 minutes alone with these ppl..All, I need is a bat & nails. & yes, I really would do it if I could get away with it..

It's been said already - but just look at the email for the verification process

"@consultant.com" - sure doesn't sound like anything paypal related to me. Just read over things like this carefully and it's pretty easy to figure out whether they're real or not.

OK here's an update. I sent my scammer to Western Union to pick up his money. I received this email about 30 minutes ago.

THE MONEY IS NOT THERE. WHY ARE YOU INSULTIMG MY PERSONALITY. I GOT EMBARRASSED IN THE WESTERN UNION TODAY THATS AN INSULT TO MY PERSON.

I have replied to him telling him to go back up to Western Union and go to a different worker, or to go to a different Western Union location.

Eventually I will tell him to accuse the workers of stealing the money. I won't be surprised if he goes along.

Update: I don't know if anyone is reading these or not but here is the most recent email I have received from the scammer:

THEMONEY IS NOT THEIR,WHY ARE YOU LIEING JUST BECAUSE OF $3500. I CAN SEE THE CAN OF HUMAN BEING THAT YOU ARE NOW. YOU ARE NOT A GOOD PERSON.WHY DO YOU LIKE TO INSULT YOUR SALF.

I've now told him that I believe that a person who works at Western Union has stolen the money and that I advise him to do whatever it takes to get the money back. We'll see what he does next. (Hopefully get thrown in jail)
