    Seeing he has been posting I'm guessing he is fine. What a scary thread though. Glad everything seems to have worked out.

      I was just at the hospital this past weekend. My girlfriend is at home waiting to pass a stone right now.

      But when I was there I asked the doctor "I heard cokes, cheese, milk, high is calcium stuff makes you more prone to kidney stones, is that true?" He told me "No, it has more to do with just bad luck and genetics. There was test done to see if they caused higher rates but nothing ever came back showing it as a fact. As long as you are drinking plenty of water, then drink soda or other such things will not effect you."

      So basiclly it is kind of a myth. Keeping you kidneys filtered with water is the biggest key he said.

        They gave my girlfriend Morphen (spelling) when we went in this weekend. She had a 2.5mm stone. The some Lortabs and some kind of meds to open up your "tubing"

          This bad boy finally passed Wednesday night, but the pain meds kept me out like a light till 0630 Thursday morning. 3.5mm may not seem that big until it comes out of your pee-hole! I hope I do not have another one of these ever.

            'm having surgery for stones Monday morning one is 1.50 cm big and the other is 1.20 cm
