At my high school,
Honors is out of 4.5, so if u get a B, its 3.5: if u get an A, its 4.5....
AP is out of 5.0, so if u get a B, its 4.0: if u get an A, its 5.0...
I think that is how it should be because it wouldnt be too fair to give the same gpa for someone who got A's in all regular classes and for someone who got A's in all honors classes.Comment

I took a lot of honors classes and almost a full year of college classes while I was in high school, and we used a 4.0 scale. The way they were weighted at our school was to bump up honors grades by 1.25% (something like that) and college classes 2%.. So if you were talking a concurrent enrollment college class and got an 88% (would typically go on your report card as 3.0), it would be weighted to give you a 90% (4.0).Originally Posted by Briman123
