If you think your sunburn was bad, check mine out..

Probably not as bad as yours I guess since I dont have any blisters, but boy staying out in the middle of the sun for about 7-8 hours for an AVP tournament kicked my ***.

Definitely be extremely careful for now on when you go out in the sun. Those who have incurred bad sunburns are at most risk to get skin cancer later in life. I'm glad you're starting to feel better, but it's no joking matter.

I've had two really bad sunburns. The last being about five years ago, when I was in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I thought I was using 45 sun tan lotion (was out for 7 hours the first day of our trip), but it turned out the lotion had expired. Thus, it was more like putting on oil than sun protectant.

I have never been in such pain and misery in my life. I remember taking a shower to numb the pain, and when I got out I was itching all over. I was crying like crazy because I couldn't stop from itching. I ended up going to the infirmary to get a pain medication shot. That helped tremendously, along with going in to a city in mexico to get some Benedryl. Thus, I never left the hotel room after the first day to go to the pool.

      Feel better.
