My story is actually getting up there in length, at least for me. Usually I only write a few pages(7-10) and then lose interest in it and move on to something else...but I've actually stuck with this one. Partly because I've posted it so I want to keep writing so people can continue reading...but I'm about to start page 23(only 14 have been posted up on the website...so expect another update sometime tonight. Depends if I get to where I want to be when I stop again>0

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread

It is on LexisNexis, I'll send you a PDF file of the case though. FYI, I think KY goes by Commonwealth as well, MA does to.Hey Mass... I haven't studied this case yet.. send me the info to [email protected] if you've found it online.Comment

Yup, the link in my sig takes you to the blog where I'm posting the story.

There are nine pages currently written that haven't been posted, but the first 14(the original 8 I sent in e-mail, and then 6 more) are up there.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread

Well as you read that was just a motion to dismiss under a brand new statute in Massachusetts, if it goes to trial it will be sometime this year I'd imagine if it hasn't already. It was the only caselaw out there on MGLA c. 265 s. 13L.

I wrote my boss the same not, especially because she is a mother. That was really the most disturbing case I have ever read, sans maybe one from Child, Family, and the State. Actually wait, that case is more disturbing because of the actions. Hopefully all involved get shanked in prison.Comment

Agree 100%. I just glanced through the most part of it, as I've been somewhat busy... but after reading through the whole thing... WOW. Being shanked in prison, is actually too light of a punishment for the actions commited.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread

FYI, I'll gladly send this to anyone who has the stomach to read it. If is extremely disturbing though. I think WTF would agree I really toned it down.

I just can't fathom how anyone could do that. I really cannot think of a case where I thought the people were any more sub-human than that. I felt horrible for the grand jury who had to watch film of that.Comment

Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, Massachusetts DSS does not mess around at all, I can assure you they didn't even give that psychopath a chance to get off crack before moving to sever parental rights. I can only imagine the decades of therapy that await that little girl, that is if she doesn't commit suicide within a couple of years.Comment
