Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
Need to write a paper on "something that seems important, that seems like something we should be interested in and knowledgeable about, but aren't." No idea what to write about.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
if you want to be good father, spend as much time with your kids as you can. I don't do that enough and I am trying to fix that. Also, they love hearing you tell them you are proud of them. I read somewhere that fathers spend 10 minutes a day with their kids. That is sad. I try to spend as much time as I can now.Comment

I don't blame him tho because he's the only father I have, I have to love him for better or for worse and I know he loves me very much.
Jeez that sounded way too sappy.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
That won't be a problem considering i'll most likely be a stay at home daddy if/when I have kids. I know all about not really spending time with father when one is young. I didn't spend that much time with my dad. He's made up for it during my teen years and currently but still it would've been nice if he was around more when I was just a little tyke.

that is good, it is not easy being a dad, so I am glad you understand that about your dad. And yeah that did sound sappy, but I agree that is how it is with my dad. Now that I am 35 and he 70. I rarely see him, but we do go out to lunch once a month. It is hard because I realise he is getting older and are time is short, so that is hard to believe. but the time will come when he won't be around, and that is hard. Wow, now I got sappy. lolComment
