Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I know that, you know that, my wife knows that, I think the rest of the sane world knows that, but alas she doesn't. It is a long story that given there are people from Western Mass on this forum would not be appropriate to go into, but in her sick world, that is how it is. Sadly, she is a grown adult. well, at least legally. I don't really like her, her one redeeming quality is that she resembles one of my friends from college, so I just pretend it is that friend when I need to be around her.
GOD I HATE BEING SICK!
I can't even imagine living there, not to mention just going there for a day./Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
For some reason this stupid freshman survey class that I have is over two hours after my last class is over. Good thing I only have it one day a week.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
Trust me, I hate living in Western MA, other than Springfield it is god awful. We have crooked cops, morons in positions of power, and a bunch of *******s. I hope if I stay in MA when I'm done at WNEC that we move east of Worcester.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
If you move to the 'Boro's(outside Worcester...Northborough, Southborough, Malrborough, Westborough) it's very nice out there. That's where I live...semi-expensive housing but very nice area...and if you have kids the Northborough/Southborough school-district is VERY nice.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I doubt our kids will go to public school very much, which with all of the Private Schools out here like Deerfield Academy and Northfield-Mt. Hermon, makes the area tempting to stay in, but I can't deal with the stupidity.
I doubt I could afford a home in Eastern MA right now as it is, especially one even remotely close to the one we have now. I know homes like half the size of ours go for 2x as much.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
Last night was a great night...played in three softball games and then went back to my friends apartment and played SNES til 4:30 in the morning. He ordered it off Ebay and finally got it in yesterday.
We picked up Wendys at 11pm, and then went back out at 3am to get Krystals.
We played Super Mario Kart, Ryan Sandberg's Super Bases Loaded, NBA Jam Tourney Edition...oh man, I felt just like a little kid again. It had been so long since I had played those games. I remember getting Super Bases Loaded for my 6th birthday too.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Western Mass does have better Private Schools than Central Mass...but St. Johns in Shrewsbury is a good school, and Algonquin Regional High School(public) is a very good public school.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
Yeah...I know mine is almost 350k and it's only 2 floors, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Not very big or nice and it's pretty expensive.

Yeah....finding a house like that our there would cost you almost 500k, I'd think. Depending on what kind of lot it had, and what town it was located in.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I had three essays (2+ pages) with the topics being:- Compare and contrast the lifestyles of the Spartans and Athenian citizens.
- What are the relationships between the Battle of Issus and Alexander, Darius III, and Bessus?
- Compare and contrast the lifestyles of the wealthy Egyptians and the peasants.
That wasn't too bad, but it took a lot of writing. Then, we were asked to describe the significance of five things out of a long list of 25 or so. Each of these were asked to be "short answer", which turned out to be a page or so apiece.Comment
