Here's how to deal with the over-protective friends:

The way around this is to win over the friends of your target before you start working on the target. This takes discipline and recognizing patterns before you introduce yourself to the group. This is solid game. You open up with the girl and her other friends, use a false time constraint, and you focus on coming in under the radar (Tao of Steve rule #1: be desireless), and demonstrate higher value to your target's friends (even if there is dude(s) around, Tao of Steve rule #2: be excellent). Ignore your target (don't fall for her attention gathering techniques), while winning over her friends, and once you know she is single (by talking to the dudes and girls there and saying "how do you all know each other?"), and have won over her friends (usually 6-10 mins), you then say "Hey, I've been ignoring Target X, mind if I spend some time with her?" The friend(s) should say, "umm..yeah..whatever" or "I guess so?". If you've won over the friend, then you should be granted access to the target.

Then you go from there with the target. This is probably the most effective way of isolating a girl you are interested in from her friends' who have joined her in the venue.

Oh yeah, and make sure you don't spend too much time with the target's friends, you'll totally alienate the target, and the friend(s) will think you are chasing after them.

Good stuff. Me personally, I just dont deal with a group of girls especially if I'm by myself. Those situations dont tend to work out well. In a diffrent setting, such as a club, there is no problem since you can defitnitely get some alone time on the dance floor or somewhere at the bar. In those situations, their friends are preoccupied by other guys anyway.

The tough times come when you see a car full, a group walking or in a smaller, more intimate type of party. Where isolation is damn near impossible because she constantly has her friends buzzing in and ruining the moment. If her friend(s) aint feeling you off jump, chances are she wont feel you as well or play you to the side.

So I've learned that if you really want to find a partner, not nessecarily a sleeping partner, the best way to get to know the real them is to catch em one on one. Where they dont have friends around to front with.

Random thoughts before lunch:

I got a cold and the nose gobblins wont stop coming....

I want to drink tonight but I also want to take some medicine. Hows about I do both and TO myself.

I just realized that I'd do anything for a chick I really like. This includes staying up till 12 or 1AM just to pick this lady up from work only to drop her off at home, makeout a tad and go back home. Estimated time spent with female: 20 minutes. Estimated time wasted: 3 hours.

I hate when I get out of a chair, stretch and get this random erection...that doesn't want to go away for at least 10 minutes. I got dress slacks on so my package is out for the world to see. Not that I dont mind....except I sit next to a queer.

Why do I still talk to every last one of my ex-gfs? I dont remember suggesting that we could still be friends. I dont remember them saying we could still be friends. I guess for females, sex is easier to accomplish with someone in the past vs some random new dude. And I sure dont mind being taken advantage of. Not one bit.

One of my ex's once invited me to this party, and it was obvious from the get-go she wanted it. She told me later that she figured she had already had sex with me, so doing it again wouldn't make her feel like a slut. I guess that's what you call a booty-call.

You guys should like this...

I had the ultimate cockblocker working against me last night. One of my own pledges in my frat. I turn around and realize hes trying to mack on my date. I was like OK whatever and I went and made out with his date, just because I could. Then I make my way back to my date, join in on the conversation, then casually mention how the cockblocker is in the marching band...

Needless to say, he didn't recover from that line all night.

Today was boring, Consumer Math, while being insanely easy is by far the worst class I have, it's so boring. Good thing I'm only in it for a semester. Photo was sweet, I went out and shot some sweet photos around campus, I get to develop them next week.

Not as many as you think, Most of the movies I watch I either borrow from the library, watch on public television or Bravo Canada. I do buy DVDs when I have the money (hence the James Stewart set I talked about a while back) but mostly I'm good at finding a movie that interests me.

Yeah I admit i'm a movie-head but at least it keeps me sane in an unbelievably insane world.

If you want, I could write about other things?
