Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I say invoke the 4 year rule Will. Never go over or under the 4 yr mark. Once you get outside of that, the difference in maturity on both parts is often too much to overcome. My ASM(23) was dating a 18 yr old who just went off to college and that turned out bad. So keep it within 4 years and over 21 if you are into the bar scene. If not then just stick to the 4 years.S.O.S Crew

I think that anyone younger that 22 or 23 will annoy the hell out of you and you should look for someone between 23 and 27, but that's just me.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
It depends on the girl to be honest. Some 22 year olds with have the maturity of a 15 year old, similarly some 18 year olds will be mature beyond their years. I would say stay above 18, otherwise the perv factor comes into play.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
As long as she's legal I wouldn't put an age on it. Obviously most 18-19 year olds are going to have serious maturity issues but you never know. Also I have a friend who is 26 and marrying a 34 year old next year so it can work with older women as well. If you click with someone who cares how old they are? Age is just a number.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I'm so sick of fighting with my girlfriend about stuff that I deem pointless. I can't talk tonight because I have to write a paper. It's not my fault she doesn't understand how hard college is! Damn! I get so sick of fighting but I can't seem to be able to go on without her. I'm sorry if this is a pointless rant, but that's what's on my mind and I figured I could throw it in here.
Then she turned on me like she was the daughter of the devil. No remource no feelings, nothing. Its like some voodoo spell was casted on her and its like she never met me, we never dated, and like I killed her mother or something.
For the past 2 years she was very loving caring and supportive, and now its like she some slut for this other guy and I never existed.
And the worst part is she's got herself convinced that its all my fault.Last edited by MagicBucsWsoxFan; 10-31-2006, 11:01 AM.Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I got a 94 on my sociology midterm so I'm happy but I'm scared about the English one, that was a crazy test.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
I notice that it's typically hard for young folks to take a break-up or being dumped. I was there before, though it wasn't for two years, it was the first relationship of that magnitude I've been in. It wasn't her first but it was mine.
Anyways, just take your losses while you are still ahead. This chick and especially that dude do not deserve your energy. THEY ARE FEEDING OFF YOUR REACTION, MAN. Don't let them do that to you.
I wouldn't worry about revenge, either. Revenge is taking your energy that you could be using for, say, maintaining close relations with the new chick, and using it for something MUCH less productive. Not only that, but you haven't thought about the chances of a foiled revenge attempt. What would you do then???
If by chance she is placed in a disadvantageous position and calls you because she was hurt by her new guy, that would be a low-energy, low-risk chance for revenge by saying "I told you so"........ and based on the instigating nature that this dude seems to be displaying towards you, it's likely that down the line he'll treat her with the same kind of respect or lack thereof.Favorite Teams:
