Re: Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That

Well, what I think I have to do is find some equation where I can use 2 and 3 to get 1/19 (perhaps by using log, sin, cos, tan, etc.). I wonder if I'm on the right track here. If I'm not, please stop me now.

I think Skyboxer got it. Didn't DK say that when you square it, it doesnt count as you using that number? I though he said that. If he did, then sky got it. Anyway can you just give us the answer?

I'm starting to think there is no answer and it is impossibile by just using those 3 numbers.

No, the argument earlier was regarding whether or not you could use powers. The answer was yes, but it had to be one of the three numbers you could use. And since the two was used to square the three, it can't also be used to multiply by.

But, then again, I could be wrong.

Nevermind. Think I broke a rule...
Though this may not be right because of you might be using a 2 twice, this is the crap I'm talking about.

I come up with a formula that is equal to the one above, but instead of coming up with the simple formula that Skyboxer presents I come up with the complicated one that includes dividing the square root of 3 with 1/2 (or 0.5).

I over analyze the simple things too much.

Ok I'm presenting a riddle that someone told me last weekend.

A father and son end up in a vehicle accident. Two ambulances come and send them to two different hospitals. Just before the son is about to be operated on, the doctor says, "I can't operate on him, that's my son."

                  Brandon got it.

Here's another one (I didn't even check to see if people have already used these earlier in the thread...)

Four men dressed in black cross the street on a rainy day. One man doesn't get wet.

Are you asking "how is this possible"?

Umbrella? Or is that "one man" even part of those four men, and is just inside a house eating Cheerios?

Right, you can use a power but it takes up the number you use.

                      Blzer, there is no trig.

Matrix, no variables. Just the three numbers.

If anyone wants the answer just pm me.

I am asking how one man doesn't get wet.

                          The four men are together.

Umbrella isn't correct, though it isn't a bad answer.
