Re: Austin, Texas
I've never been the Austin, but from what I hear...it is a blast.Last edited by Herbsinator; 11-01-2006, 07:04 PM. -

And I hear it's CHEAP as hell. I've thought about moving out of the Tri-State area in the next few years, Austin is certainly at the top of the list of my places to check out."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Austin, Texas
That is funny, but no. It has kind of transitioned to where the older crowd is at the beginning of 4th (west). The gay bars are on the beginning of 5th (http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/downtown/ware_map.htm). I only know this because my free parking spot forces me to walk by the gay clubs. I am starting to prefer 4th a little more just because it has a more toned down vibe than 6th. Though getting whistles from dudes as you are making your way to 6th really throws you off your game...
http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/downtown/ware_map.htm The cluster of places on 4th and Lavaca (and Colorado) is in particular of what I was referring to.Last edited by thelwig14; 11-03-2006, 01:17 PM.Comment
