Good luck. I love Austin. If the wife and I ever decide to leave San Diego (due to overcrowdedness, traffic, ever increasing cost of living, etc.) Austin is one of 3 or 4 places we would go. My only concern about Austin is the heat in the summer. If I remember it's hotter than hell there in the summer.

It was the same for me. I co-oped for them throughout college, but I wouldn't have been able to do much development work for them if I'd stayed on with them.

Do you graduate in the fall or the spring? Have you looked around the Huntsville area, seems to be a lot of developers around here with all the government contracts and NASA. Not sure about the wireless part though.

OK, so ill be heading back out there in 1-2 months to try and find an apartment...

Im working at National Instruments, which if I have my bearings correct, i believe is in northwest Austin, so I would like to try to find something in that area.... anyone have any any good recommendations for apartments? any place i should stay away from?

San Diego is my ideal living area. I'd love to move out there when I graduate and get a steady job. From what I hear, they have the perfect climate.
