Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Oh yes the good old when I get older statement! lol Yeah, but still unless you are going to be 6'3'' 20 is pretty big. Look at Pittman on the Bucs, he is about 20 inches, and while it does look cool, it also looks weird. That is just my opinion. I am sure some will say it looks great to be that big.I realize that. But keep in mind, Im only 16 and I have some room to grow. So when i max out my growth 20 will look really good.
And its not like the rest of my body is a twig either. I swim so that my lower body and my midsection are already big to go along with upper body and arms.Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
I had to take a look at a picture of Pittman to see what you were talking about. The reason they look weird on him is because he does not have broad shoulders. If he was bigger in the shoulders it would not look so bad.Oh yes the good old when I get older statement! lol Yeah, but still unless you are going to be 6'3'' 20 is pretty big. Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
I'm thinking about giving this a try. Does anyone else have any experience with this one? This week I've actually tried a program called "Guerilla Cardio". It only takes 10 minutes but it kicks your butt. I do this after my weight lifting and abs.

It really makes you sweat and as you can see from the article it's supposed to be an excellent fat burning workout.Comment

That is just it the shoulders are tough to get big. That is why it is easier to have bigger arms. I think after awhile arms that big will look weird.Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
whats a realistic weightloss in 4 weeks?
basically ive neglected my body quite a bit over the past year and ill be going away on a trip which entails swimming, so i need some bit of reassurance.
currently im 6-4 @ around 230 lbs. this body fat analyzer scale has been showing 22.5 to 24% bodyfat% for awhile now. it may not be exactly accurate but i sense its around there
If I were to just eat great foods and exert myself to its limit for 4 weeks, whats my best outcome?Last edited by RubenDouglas; 05-13-2007, 05:21 AM.Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
If 20 inches would be a little too big then what would be a good and attainable goal for me to aim at?
I kind of realized that 20 inches would be first off really hard and second off even tho I already do have some broad shoulders, I prob couldnt pull off the look.Michael Phelps for 8 gold medals in Beijing 2008

17 or pretty good size even 18, to me 20 is very big and look weird unless you are about 6'4''. I could be wrong ask AburnAlum. What he thinks is a good size. You have to be having some huge shoulder to pull of that look. Beside try to get your arms some bulk with cuts. If that make sense. If 20 inches would be a little too big then what would be a good and attainable goal for me to aim at?

I just started taking NO-XPLODE cause I was tired all the time and I must say the stuff definately wakes up for a workout."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

I bet if you started to eat right, and did some intense cardio you could be down to 18% in 4 weeks.whats a realistic weightloss in 4 weeks?

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Hey guys I'm looking for some advice. I've been lifting 3-4 times a week for about 4 months now. I'd say I'm no longer a novice, probably intermediate. Lately I've been looking into adding supplements to my workout regimen, but i have no idea where to start. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for a good Protein shake to use and inform me about some of the other supplements (no2, creatine etc.). Thanks.Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
I'm in the exact same boat. I've been lifting regularly for about a year now. I've had a goal set for myself in bench to increase my 1 rep maxout 60 pounds in three months, and I don't think all natural will help me get there. What's the best safe supplement/protein for muscle mass?Hey guys I'm looking for some advice. I've been lifting 3-4 times a week for about 4 months now.
