      Re: The Sleep Thread

This week has been really bad for me:

Sunday: last day of break so had to finish science fair and a ****load of other hw. 3AM-6AM
Monday: basketball prac, homework, etc. 4AM-6AM
Tuesday: basketball prac, more hw 2AM-6AM
Wednesday: bball game, got home late, lots of hw 3AM-6AM
Tonightractice, a lot of HW, will be gettin to bed around 4AM and getting up at like 6:45AM.
Tomorrow I have a game but after that I'm probably just gona sleep for like 12 hours since I've formal on Saturday night and probably won't be getting home until Sunday morning. I have no school on monday so hopefully I can somehow get back on track and not have to be up until 3 doing homework every night.

If you're going to pull an all-nighter to reset your system (and I have done that COUNTLESS times), make sure you don't fall asleep AT ALL before you want to...you will regret it, lol.

              Mon - Thur - I sleep from 12a-5a.

Fri - Sun - I try to get as less sleep as possible.

As long as I get up for work, sleep doesnt matter.

I go to sleep around 12:30 each night, get up around 5:45 each morning. It doesn't really ever change from that during the week days. On the weekends I usually wake up around 8 or 8:30 and go to bed around 1.

My sleep pattern sucks. I have a horrible time sleeping through the entire night. I always wake up 4-5 times before my alarm goes off. I don't know why... Typical hours of sleep for me:

                  M-F 11:30pm - 6am
Sat-Sun I go to sleep whenever I get tired and wakeup around 9am.

I must say, sometimes it feels as if Im wasting time by sleeping.

But I play video games, the biggest time waster of all time.

                    Ironic, dontcha think?

I find I need about 8 hours sleep to feel my best. I read somewhere that the best thing for your body is to go to sleep and wake up around the same time each day so I try and do that. Bedtime for me is 11pm to 11:30pm Sun-Thurs. Then wake up around 7am. Friday and Saturday nights I'll stay up a little later, but usually not past 12:30am. Then wake up around 8am.

I need at least 8 hours to fully rejuvenate my body. Anything less will hinder me until I get home from work.

My classes start around 11:10 or 11:35 Monday-Thursday, so I can pretty much go to bed as late as I want, then sleep until 10:30 or so. On Fridays, though, I don't have class until 1:10, and it's my only class of the day... so I go to bed whenever.

                              Weekends - anything goes.

My sleeping habits always get screwed up on winter break and over the summer, I start classes back up on Tuesday and work Saturday and Sunday (gotta be there at 7am) so hopefully this will get me back into some more normal hours.

Over break though my sleeping habits got knocked way off, I sat up til 5 or 6 am most nights (earlier some, later others) then would sleep til around 3 or 4 (later a few times).

Now that I'm heading back to class and the fact that I try to get all of my classes over by noon (which I failed at this semester I go til 1), that way I have a ton of free time to just do whatever.
