1995 Ford Ranger, had about 70,000 miles when I got it. When I sold it, it was well in the 140,000 range, with no major problems.

Re: Your first car?
2001 Nissan Maxima SE, black exterior, black interior. Had pretty much all options when I bought it.
Bought it new with 4 miles on it from dealer test drive. Still have the car with about 60,000 on it now. Probably going to get rid of it this summer as it's starting to nickel and dime me with problems. Most of the problems are the cause of an accident I had in 2001 (2 months after I bought the car). Lady ran a stop sign and caused 15,000 worth of damage to the passenger side. Now a bunch of problems are happening to that side of the car.Last edited by mjb2124; 01-16-2007, 08:35 PM.Comment

Re: Your first car?
My first car was (still is) a Black 2001 Volkswagen Passat wagon (I-4 with turbo! haha). Bought it last February for around $8,000 with around 100k miles on it. I've put 5k (maybe 7k? I forget) on it since then. Nothing wrong with it except I had to replace the windshield wiper fluid pump, no biggie.

Re: Your first car?
1983 Peugot 505Sti.
Awesome car when it wasn't in the shop.
Got rid of it, and got a Nissan 300zx for my HS graduation present. My brother totaled it my junior year of college. After that my mom said no more good cars for you guys, and I ended up with a 1990 Honda Civic DX. Stripped. No power steering, no power windows. Just car, engine and steering wheel.Comment

1995 Green Ford Taurus.
It's still "my" car...only difference is it is on it's second transmission. The first one died on me in the middle of an intersection. I was stuck there for 2 hours before the tow truck showed up. People were pissed at me as they had to go around me, lol.Comment

A 1998 Mazda Protege. I got it for my birthday last April, and I haven't had any problems with it, except sideswiping a pole which made a nice dent on my passenger door.Comment

Re: Your first car?
First one was this...
An '01 Ranger Edge with all the options. Got it late in '02 and got it for my 16th a few months later. The fog lights were as bright if not brighter than my headlights. Got out of high school and wanted anything but a truck and got this..
Its an '04 Grand Cherokee Special Edition. I wish I had gotten one sooner.Twitter
