My first ride was a 1980 Chevy pickup, green, 4spd on the column! The back came in handy with the ladies!

      2 memorable incidents:

Taking my ex-girlfriend shopping and ran over a big mud puddle. Tried to center the car over it so I wouldnt wet my carpet that covered the holes in the floor. Misjudged it, black water shot thru the hole and sprayed me in the face. She laughed for 2-3 weeks everytime she got back in.

Taking my homie to school and we stopped to get soda at a store. We leave and as we continue further down the road.
I said, "I smell something burning! I hope it aint my car."

Kept driving and then I start to see smoke coming thru the floor. I lift up the remnant carpet to see a small fire. The carpet was touching the exhaust pipe and caught fire. Me and my homie both have to pour our soda on the fire to put it out.

My sisters first car, which I had to ride to school with her in, the radio didn't work quite right. To turn it on and off, you had to slam the door... to turn the stupid radio up, you had to drive around the curve really fast, lol. It was hilarious. It was a 89 Toyota Tercel I think.

One morning, we beeped the horn at our grandmother's house as we passed by, and the stupid horn got stuck... it wouldn't stop... lol. We kept driving hoping it'd stop, but it continued all the way to school... sounded like flock of sick geese coming. I slipped down into the floorboard to avoid embarrassment as we drove it back home. Didn't get to go to school that day ... lol.

      Good times.

My Nova had the antenna in the windshield, so on a cloudy day the radio wouldnt work.

Plus it had the bench seat in the front and I am short. All my buddies will tell me to get my lil butt in the passenger seat so they could drive and let the seat back.

          LOL

a red '92 Chevy Beretta...it was for me and my sister, my sister is 13 months older so she got to drive it for a while before me...she wrecked it but didnt total it, from then on you couldnt drive any place over 10 miles away on hot days or the car would overheat...i'm talking smoking...this was when I was a sophmore in HS...

the first car I purchased was a red '85 Pontiac Firebird (t-top) it was a nice car, did me well from my sophomore year of college till this past june

in June I got a black 2007 Sport trac (now that I have a job I had to get something that allowed me not to worry about the temperature outside when i was in my car)...its doing me very well, just got the windows tinted over christmas (5%) and its looking real nice...

1978 Pontiac Phoenix that i bought right before I graduated in 1995. My second was a 1992 Nissan Cefiro, followed by a 1992 Nissan March, 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass, 2001 Chevy Cavalier, 2001 Ford F150, 2002 Nissan Xterra, 2007 Toyota Yaris. The next car I get is going to be a Cadillac CTS or a Seville. My question to you would be, Can you afford a car note? If you can $8000 down would get you a nice new car with a really inexpensive note. The Yaris I just bought my wife is really nice and decked out for less than $15000. It also gets almost 40 MPG which was the real selling point for me. I fit in the car comfortably at 6'5 and 300 lbs. Good Luck and have fun car shopping.

It was my mom's until she bought a new car. As soon as I got my hands on it, I put in a CD player, painted it black, and dubbed it "The Batmobile".

When I dont feel like driving, friends always ask to drive. But I calmly tell them, "This is the Batmobile. Only Batman gets to drive the Batmobile."

Still runs like a dream. I love that car.

1984 Honda Civic 4 door. Thing is probably still running today thats how solid those cars are. I pimped the crap out of it back in the early 90's (becuase thats what we did then!). I put in 2 - 15 inch subs in the trunk, then i had the great idea that wasnt enough, so I constructed this thing that sat in my back seat that held 2 more 12 inche subs! So, 4 gigantic subs in a tiny little civic, yea it was dumb but it sure was fun!

I guess I shouldn't say the car my parents let me drive in high school my first car, which was a 95 Ford explorer.

My first car that I actually bought is a 2000 Acura Integra GSR. I am so in love with that car but got I got rear ended. If you like imports then this is an amazing car and its in your price range of 8,000. Plus they are quick and its fun driving vtech.

My friends have mustangs and always had problems with them. Integras are easy to fix/maintain. I can say that I was a very satisfied honda owner and I'm sure most people who have owned one can say the same.

Got a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 in 2003. But its been nothing but a piece of crap for the past year, so its gonna be traded in towards either a Scion TC or a Corolla soon.

My sister, who JUST got her license, got a '98 4-Runner, 4WD and all. Pisses me off.

Then, my parents go out and buy an '05 4-Runner Sport Edition.
