I seriously can't remember how I found OS. I want to say someone linked it over at the IGN forums. I came here to post about baseball videogames, mainly All Star Baseball. Then, I really got involved with the hockey forum with guys like Nivek, Donovan_MD, and SPTO. There was only a handful of us in that forum, but we had some great discussion. After about a year, I started posting in every forum...

I first found the site looking for rosters for NCAA I think, I lurked for about 5 months until it was required that you sign up to read threads.

I found this site a few years back when my friend recruited me to back him up in this argument about who was better between Tommie Frazier and Eric Crouch....didn't really post that much for awhile...then when I discovered the babe forum I came back and I just kind of "stuck around" after that.

I came in right before the baseball games were about to be released.

At that time:
There weren't seperate forums for certain games, the forum was much smaller.
There were only a couple of mods and admins I think... far less than what they have now.
This was at the tail-end of Baseball_Guru.
Forums were black and orange/gold.
I didn't even know they had a main site.
The Everything Else forum still existed.

I remember I came here looking for info about the baseball games and my first post was a comparison of all the baseball games that were coming out.

Like Sully I remember posting a lot in the pro hockey forums for a while as it only seemed like 4 or 5 folks really cared about the sport. I don't post there as much as I used to but I drop in from time to time
