I was a lurker at OS for the longest time. Some probably wish I still was.

I never even signed up for a username/password until it was required. If I remember right, that's why my reg date is December of 2002. I might've had a few posts on the old site too, mostly looking for Madden sliders and NCAA rosters.

The username/password didn't become a requirement until Summer of 2003 (i.e. the time they changed upgraded the forums and the same time I had my log in troubles).

Whew, glad someone else confirmed it. I remember being a lurker for a bit earlier than when I registered but I thought I didn't remember it being correctly.

The only reason I registered was because someone at baseballsimcentral wanted to put my HH sliders on here so I let them.... then chimed in once the questions started.

I did a internet search for nba2k2 rosters the summer following its release. I had a ps2 and a sharkport at the time and I wanted yao ming in my game. I found a post by Ncoffey with a roster file on the older OS boards.

I really should have atleast 16,000 posts but was banned by one of many bdoughty's ban fests that took place around 2003. I wasnt reinstated rather given another chance with a fresh post count lol. some of yall have it easy with whats been said and done compared to the old times

Ahh...Brent Doughty. So many memories. No homo of course.

He did have a thing for banning posters who he had personal vendettas with. Its like you had to stay on his good side if you wanted to live to post another day. Once you crossed his path or actually stood up to the dude, you were toast.

When I first arrived here, I think TMSkillz was like the most popular dude here. Those pic threads were pure classics. Is'nt he still a poster here by a diffrent name?

I haven't been here for nearly as long as you guys have... but like Jistic said this site has become part of daily life. I don't post as much as some, but OS is always open in a browser on my cpu at work and home. I came here 1st looking for sliders or settings for NBA Live. I never got those sliders either some poster was talking about nba 2k games, so I went and picked it up and been a 2k sports guy since. This site is Great! hopefully its around at least another 5 years....

lol yeah not so much any more. No need to "fix" or "improve" games to get that sim experience as was needed back in the day...

I have to admit... thank god for that. I'm actually enjoying the games now instead of having to work on them and THEN be able to enjoy 'em!

I used to be on the old forums, then when I wanted rosters for NCAA 2002 for PS2 I came here and stayed here ever since. In July 2002 I was going into my sophmore year of High School, I just had turned 15 since my birthday is in June. Now I am 19 and in the Army stationed in Germany.

I don't know what I'd do without this site during the week. It makes work go by so much faster, although I actually get angry when the board is slow mid-afternoon.

When I come back to the site after a two-hour hiatus, check the User CP and see "There are no new posts"....
