Re: Started going to the Gym.....
Heck, the first two weeks you might even take a step back. Your body will probably be very sore. Give yourself a month before you should start seeing some improvements in your strength. The increases are nice and quick in the early stages once you've set the foundation.Comment

Re: Started going to the Gym.....
so you're gonna like looking like johnny bravo?
i now know why some guys at the gym always wear sweats. because they have huge upper bodies and legs like chickens.
but if you used to do your legs a lot and their still in good shape, then that's fine.
i just have something against peeps at the gym who don't look proportion because they never do their legs...

Steroids work real good!Any ways I used to take No2 and Ce2. That work great, but I am sure it will cause something. Also Football you should get back with your baby's mommy. But that is just how I feel. Any ways good luck with everything.

That sounds like a grip problem. Most bench press issue's are."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: Started going to the Gym.....
I think it could have been a shoulder problem. I pop my shoulder out of place all the time, not quite sure when it happened. I thought it was grip too, but I was working out with a guy on our team who benched close to 500 lbs, and I had the same grip as he did (he taught it to me)."You should only drink to enhance your social skills." -Barney GumbleComment

Re: Started going to the Gym.....
I want to add on about 15-20 lbs. I'm 21 years old and weigh around 150 right now. I've never been a big guy and have trouble adding weight. I really am committed to this now and want to start adding mass and bulking up. Of course I'm starting back at the gym and I've started eating healthier and drinking lots of water. I've been using that article AA posted a few weeks back about the best foods to eat when trying to add mass. I've never used protein shakes or any kind of enhancers. Anyone use protein shakes, where do you get them, and are they worth it? I've also heard that eating ice cream and drinking milkshakes helps as long as you continue to work out?"The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Congrats on being motivated enough to getting into the gym...all of you.
It's so easy to be lazy, but the benefits of working out are so great. I just turned 22, I'm 6-3 210 and I'm just trying to keep my athletic look.
Keep it up everyone.Comment

Man, I'm seeing all you guys trying to add weight, and I'm trying to lose mine. I'm 24, and am 6-1, 235. I'm looking to drop down to around 200. Gonna have to start running here, as much as I hate it."You should only drink to enhance your social skills." -Barney GumbleComment
