    Glad she is back.

We had that happen 2 times years ago, one of the worst feelings ever. We found the dog, but as someone mentioned when their house dogs, if they get lost outside good luck on trying to find them.

I had a dog run away before and 2 days later he came home. I guess he needed to sow some wild oats.

Awesome news! I am glad to hear that, we have survived a run away pet making its way back.

Some tips if anyone else wants to know
          1. Call every local vet with a description of the animal. Someone may find the pet injured and to the right thing, so it is good if vets know to be on the lookout.
          2. Take out an ad in the paper. This is what we did and on the last day it ran a person called saying our ferret was in his garage.
          3. Notify the local MSPCA or Humane Society. This is where someone may take a wayward pet.

We also printed a flyer and inserted it on every car window in the area that we thought the pet may run. We also put them up in our condo complex (only for some douche bag to rip them down). The more who know to look for the pet, the better odds someone can find and return them. For all those who own pets, as morbid as it sounds it is best to have an emergency plan.

Thats great news. Sad as it sounds, that made my day! I hate when I hear people's pets get lost or run away. It really makes me sad.

That doesn't make it a good thing to post in a, "my dog just ran away" thread. By the way I'm glad Macar's dog came back safe.
