I'm proposing to my GF this weekend. We're visiting Cincy, where she's from, so I thought it would be a cool time to do it. I've been thinking of different ways to make it special for her, and I think this will do the trick. Her father passed a way when she was six, and he always took here to this huge park. Well, she has this place that she likes to go when she visits and just hang out, it reminds her of him and she feels close to him there, so she said she would show me when we go this weekend and thats where I'm going to ask her.
I'm pretty sure she'll say yes, since we've done the whole "oh lets just stop in the jewelry store real quick" thing. I picked out the ring yesterday, and now all I have to do is wait, which is killing me. The nerd in me wanted to do it at the Reds game we're going to on Sat night, but this will be so much better. Plus she'd probably say no if I did it at a BB game
Anyway, i've rambled enough. I just havent told anyone yet, because everyone I know knows her and I dont want her to find out if the wrong person finds out, ya know
I've been divorced for almost four years, and this just feels so right and it feels good to get life going again. My son loves her and she loves him, so that pretty much seals the deal. Hmm, still rambling.
