Congrats chippered! Glad to hear everything went well. I got engaged in August so I know how stressful it can be hoping everything goes according to your plan.

Thanks bro. Stressful? Turns out that was the easy part. Saturday after lunch, we went to her aunt and uncles place, where we were staying that night. We visit for a few minutes and her cousin comes home. He's 11 and asked if I wanted to go play some catch and I said sure. I always carry my glove in my trunk for whatever reason.

So, we're gone for like 20 or 30 minutes. We head back to the house and my fiance is in the garage with her aunt talking about wedding plans already!! I'm like DAMN!? Already? But it is nice to see people excited about it. When here father passed when she was six, her aunt and uncle were very important to here and still are. Her mom went downhill fast when my fiances father passed and she never recovered, so they became like parents to her. I respect them very much and they are wonderful people, so to have them onboard is comforting. More so than having her mother onboard, to be honest with you, for both her and I, but thats another story altogether...

Then the people started to leave and as soon as everybody was gone this guy walked up 50 or so feet behind us with a kite and I said "look theres a guy with a kite" and as she turned around I dropped to a knee and pulled the ring out and when she turned around I asked her and she started to cry.

I like how you did that. Nicely played.

Congrats Chippers! How long have you guys been together?

Another part I liked was how you said you always keep your baseball glove in the trunk, my Step Dad and Uncle do that too. When I was younger I thought it was so cool because I always had somebody to toss the ball with, and its convenient.
