I'm now 360'less... Update...

[WTF]

Yep... I am no longer in possession of a 360 anymore, as I sold it to my brother in law. Why would I do such a thing? Because I'll be in the Kentucky State Police Academy for 25 weeks starting June 16th...

I just got my letter via FedEx letting me know I was selected and offered a conditional employment (assuming I pass physical and psychological tests, lol).

Right now, I'm just stoked. Can't really explain it. It's been over a year since I started the process, and finally getting accepted, can't really explain it. Just wanted to let my OS brethren know, and say thanks for all of the PM's, emails, etc from you guys.

Don't know what you all are gonna do without me here for 25 weeks.

Thanks fellas... I'm just ecstatic... All hyped up. It's going to be a grueling 25 weeks, but I've been in preparation for this for the past year and a half...

Only 90 people were selected for the academy I believe... so this news has just absolutely made my day.

Well, I thought I was... I was almost 100% sure, but then they came out w/ the fact that they may not even have the money to start an academy...

They got the extra money.. and I got the official offer of employment today.

Thanks a lot man. It's going to stink not being around for the releases of NBA 2k8 this year... but I'll pick it up when I get out... and we'll have some great games again this year, haha.

Good luck. 25 weeks will go fast. When I was considering going back to school, but was hesitant about the time committment a wise man told me something like: Those years will pass either way. If you go to school the time will pass and you'll reach a goal.
