I just found out i for a 3 on the US test. I wrote one of the essays on FDR instead of Teddy Roosevelt and had absolutely no idea what I was writing on the DBQ and somehow still passed. I seriously have no idea how i managed to pass. The grading system must be really really generous.

How'd you find out already? I thought I did well on the DBQ and the 2nd FR, but my first essay was horrible because I got things switched up and talked about irrelevant stuff.

Wait, a 3 now gets you college credit for AP courses? Damn, 10 years ago you needed at least a 4, some schools required 5's.

Some places take 3's, but it usually is a 4 thats needed.

I'm pretty sure UC schools take 3s. My first choice is UC Santa Barbara and I'm also looking at UC Davis so most of the schools I'm applying will probably accept a 3. I've got a 3.6 with 2070 on the SAT, 800 on SAT 2 Math 2, and 600 on SAT 2 US history. I'm hoping that will get me into Santa Barbara.

Those seem like good scores. Can't you get into UCLA with that?

It all depends on what your major is. I got accepted at UCSB while friends with similar academics didn't. Good Luck!

Highly doubt it. The SAT scores are good enough but my GPA would have to be pretty close to a 4.0 if not higher. Its gotten way harder to get in there recently. And Oakfan, I wana be a business or engineering major. Those are probably the hardest to get in with but I think I've got a decent shot.

Still haven't seen any scores but at orientation this weekend I got my schedule and got credit for each exam I took, so that's good. 20 hours alredy woohoo.

Ouch man that hurts. On the plus side, schools will still be impressed that you took a more demanding class even if you didn't do so well.

Thats the main reason I took the courses. I still managed to get A's in them. So what exactly did you get?
