It's costing me 55 dollars to fill up per tank. At a rate of 2-2.5 tanks per week that's a hell of a lot of $$$ that's being burned up on the roads for me.

I guess it's time to go buy a horse or a solar powered car because it's getting pretty ridiculous to buy a friggin' tank of gas.

Good grief...over 2 times a week! I keep my driving to a minimum and I have a F-150...costs over $60 to fill up but I only fill up every other week or so. I love the fact that I work 8.2 miles from my house! And while at work I only drive the company car.

I have to deal with the insane Bay Area Gas Prices. But I drive a VW TDI, so I use diesel ($3.04 which is cheap here). The car also gets about 40 mpg! Its nice.
But I have to drive a wuss car.

Yup still in the Z club.

This May I am going to get a new car, need to get a back seat and some trunk space. Probably going to go the G37 route or possibly a 5 series BMW. Not sure yet.

Unfortunately they all run on premium also.

Or were we supposed to have some sort of hovercraft that run on vegetable grease?

The metro area's are really feeling the pain for gas prices.

It's not as high here as other places but it's still above 3 bucks/gallon. I drive a Buick Roadmaster with a 5.7L V8 so it'll take alot of gas. But, you have to do what you have to do to get around.

I was looking at the G37 recently while doing a little car shopping. The new model is a pretty nice ride.

For me it's between the Infinity G37, Lexus IS350 or BMW 335i. The G37 has AWD which would help in this area, but I think with good snow tires I can do fine with the RWD 350 or 335i. Personally, I prefer the 350's interior/exterior look so it's leading at the moment. Only problem is I'll probably have to special order it as there aren't many 350's around here at all. The wait would be 3-4 months.

Ther's one reason I don't like the IS350. Ride is too soft, and cushy. I want a car I can really "drive" if you know what I mean? It's a nice car, but it's not a drivers car. It's got a great interior though.

Some things on the G37, I found out at the Infinity dealer. They are upping the horsepower to something like 309 or 310. (Something in that range). Nav system is voice activated (current 350Z, G35 Navi uses crappy joystick which I hate). Bluetooth and all that stuff is in. Push button start. Media center, so it's basically got a hard drive that you can upload your CD's and MP3's too. I believe it also has video inputs, the guy said I could plug my XBOX in to it.

The new G35X, has a lot of these features if you want to check them out.

335i is nice, but imo, you get a lot more bang for the buck, with the G37.

When my wife's lease runs out next month, we're picking her up a Mercedes ML 450. I can't get her out of an SUV. She loves them. So I am guessing my gas bill is really going to sky rocket.

It's anywhere between $2.99 and $3.09 here. ****ing ridiculous.

I went to Exxon tonight and filled up for $68.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that gas prices need to be this high.

Around here, gas is anywhere from $2.99 to $3.09 for regular. My car is pretty good on gas and only takes about $30 to fill up, but that's kind of hard to do regularly when you don't have a job and only get money from your mom every other week.

I wish it was 2000 again, when gas was $0.85 a gallon.

I'm definitely not looking forward from moving from Texas to California just because of the gas prices I'll encounter on the trip.
