Dagger got the warranty, I believe it covers the same thing as the lease coverage.

2006 325i is not a bad investment. They aren't super expensive, the 3 series is the premier car in the entry level luxury sedan market, and they drive like a german car should drive. Plus the 06 has the new body style which I really dig. My only complaint with my last BMW was I hated the i-drive, what a horrid system.

3 series is a little small for my taste, but it's a nice ride, and the 325 actually has a nice bang for the buck factor to it. Although at your age, buying a house would have been a smarter investment, but f it, you can always buy a house later.
ya the warrenty covers everything except tires for the next 4 years

Exactly so the expensive maintenance complaint doesn't really fly. Smart move on your part.

Great choice, dagger. BMW's are fun to drive.

So let me get this straight they cover oil changes and brakes for 4 years, I have a hard time believing that, but if you say so. lol

I've had one since 2001 (325xi) and it hasn't really had any problems so I think the upkeep thing is overrated.

If his warranty is the same as my lease was, everything but the tires.Brakes, oil changes, any scheduled maintenance, etc.

This is a pretty well known BMW offering I thought.

News to me if that it true that is cool, I thought leases had different things it offers, because you don't own the car. I thought if you own the car you pay for those kind of things. I could be wrong, if BMW cover all that, then that is good deal, but I still doubt it, but I could be wrong. I know labor on a BMW is very exspensive.

Yep they do. At least that's the way it's been for my buddy's BMW. He drove that car hard and they had to replace the brakes at 15,000 miles. There wasn't even a problem (and they had to know that wasn't normal wear and tear).

I've never thought much about the oil changes. They're so easy to do and pretty cheap. It's a nice add-on to the warranty, but not a big deal IMO. I've always changed my own oil. I guess I enjoy that stuff!

One other things is those tires will go quick. If I'm not mistaken they are low profile run-flat tires. I don't know how much they cost, but it can't be cheap. I have 18" low profile on my car and it costs $150-$200 per tire to replace. They go pretty fast as well. I can't imagine how much more run-flats would cost.

Set of 4 run-flats on my last 5 series ran about $1100 total.

Other thing about the run-flats. Since the Rubber is harder, they do run a little bit rougher. run-flat tires + Sports Package = pretty stiff, but sporty ride.
