I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Need a song to dance to at wedding.

i am planning to use Metallica's "Die, Die, Die my Darling"

seriously - congrats on your impending doom, er upcoming nuptuals..

        songs I am thinking of:

        >John Lennon's "Grow Old with Me" (version by Mary Chapin Carpenter)
        >John Waite's "Price of Love"
        >Journey's "With Your Love"
        >"God Bless the Broken Road"
        >Bon Jovi's "Thank You for Loving Me"..

question is, what is a good mother/son song? Only one I can think of is Taylor Hicks' "Do I make you Proud?"

Nickel Creek's "When You Come Back Down"

We didn't have a mother/son, and obviously given the circumstances now, one of my biggest regrets.

We danced to "They Way You Look Tonight". It was the first song I ever sang to my wife, then girlfriend.

Use the band form the Movie Oldschool and tell them to Play their version or "Total Eclipse of the Heart". So beautiful. Here is the clip just incase you don’t know what I’m talking about.

                    Here is a longer version.

                    Congrats on the wedding.

                    Peace.

A very moving, emotionally driven song.

our dance song was Leann Rimes's "I need you". The father-daugher song was "The way you look tonight," and the mother-son song was "Tender years" by John Fogerty and the Beaver Brown Band.

Our dance song was written by Peter Cetera called The Glory of Love.

Our band couldn't hit the high notes, so, they played a cassette tape of the song. Our band did play White Wedding by Billy Idol. Also, the band heard from others that I sang Cat Scratch Fever at our high school a few times, so, the band asked me to come upstage and become lead singer. We also had a few guys to Old Time Rock n Roll by Bob Seger.

I wanted Love Stinks by the J. Geils Band.

Here are the lyrics to the Glory of Love.

                              Tonight it's very clear
                              As we're both lying here
There's so many things I want to say
                              I will always love you
I would never leave you alone

                              Sometimes I just forget
                              Say things I might regret
It breaks my heart to see you crying
                              I don't wanna lose you
I could never make it alone

I am a man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero you're dreaming of
                              We'll live forever
                              Knowing together that we
Did it all for the glory of love

                              You'll keep me standing tall
You'll help me through it all
I'm always strong when you're beside me
                              I have always needed you
I could never make it alone

I am a man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero you've been dreaming of
                              We'll live forever
                              Knowing together that we
Did it all for the glory of love

Just like a knight in shining armor
                              From a long time ago
Just in time I will save the day
Take you to my castle far away

I am a man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero you're dreaming of
                              We're gonna live forever
                              Knowing together that we
Did it all for the glory of love

                              We'll live forever
