If you mean just straight water with nothing added, none. I haven't had water in at least a month. I stick with soda, tea, orange juice, Gatorade, and Vitamin Water.

Just to let you know, if you drink just Gatorade and don't do anything active, you could get kidney stones. It happened to one of my good friends. But I'm sure you don't have to worry about that, you're probably pretty active if you're that skinny.

Like others have said you don't want to gain weight from drinking soda. Your going to end up getting just a big belly and your arms and legs will still be skinny. And trust me you don't want to end up looking like that.
Bingo. Water is so very important to our bodies. I'm very active with running and weightlifting so I drink about a gallon of water a day.

Great article, hopefully it'll knock some sense into these soda-fiends!

Maybe they're too young to see the big picture yet, I dunno!

I'm actually not that active. I'm playing in a summer basketball league right now, but that's about it. I don't really lift or run, and I only play sports in the winter and summer.

As for Gatorade, I usually do save that for when I'm playing sports. I occasionally have one when I'm just sitting around, but not anything major.

It's not so much the soda that makes you gain weight look for any drink that uses high fructuse corn syrup. That's the killer.

Soft drinks with real cane sugar is fantastic but almost impossible to find in the states. I think most foreign countries are also using that syrup instead of real sugar.

If you've ever had a Coke in the bottle with real cane sugar you know great it tastes.

I hear that. They don't realize what their doing to their bodies today will have negative effects on them 20 years from now.

I don't think i'll be able to stop drinking soda, maybe have 3 cups worth of soda a day (1 cup for dinner, 1 for lunch and 1 with a snack) But I try to avoid coke and pepsi as much as I can, I only drink Sprite and Orange Soda.

Ive been making a big effort to drink milk everyday, which it's hard I don't like the taste of milk enough to have it with hotdog or a steak. I can only drink it with cookies or at breakfest. When I was younger i'd gulp down tons of mountain dew, and coke but atleast im trying, I'd suggest if your addicted to soda drink milk it's best thing you can have to reduce the bad effects of soda.

I really only drink water when i'm thirsty while playing sports (or have nothing in the fridge ill pop open a polar spring) gatorades during sports usually gives me cramps and I only have gatorade before I workout or play sports...
