Sorry for expecting one simple post explaining something like this, versus ten making me out to be the dumbest poster of the month. And yeah, I've been here 2.5 years and usually get intelligent answers when I do actually ask something, so I am surprised because I didn't think this was such a stupid question. I don't frequent the internet as much as everyone else, so not everything is common knowledge to me. Thanks for your post, it was very helpful.

Don't take it personal. I don't think anyone was trying to make you look stupid.

Remember, not everyone can read between the lines. Maybe you could have included a little more info in your first post...

EXAMPLE:

"I don't do a lot of surfing around the internet and I am looking for an active sports message board. I know there is a lot of sports talk on OS, but it's a gaming board first. What I am looking for is all sports... all the time."

Now... that doesn't mean you wouldn't have still had some people having some fun. But, it might have been a little smoother.

And, one final piece of advice... if you think it's bad here... wait till you do find some of those other message boards... OS is VERY, VERY tame compared to some of those other boards out there.

Trust me, I get the culture here and enjoy it, which is why I've read these boards for 2.5 years with occasional posting.

You guys are usually very helpful and I just didn't think I was asking a stupid question as it was made out to be. I was a little surprised by the responses, thats all. No one's upset here I just was looking for an answer to my question, which I have now, so thank you.
