Alrite, thanks man.
Living in California has always been one of my dreams. I mean, I was born on the beach in Portugal, and California is possibly the only way to combine the beach/European way of life with the American lifestyle.
BTW, ur from San Jose, right? Is rent super expensive there? Is there alot of crime? Just trying to get a feel for the area.PSN: Peji911Comment

No, I am from Concord area. It is close. You need to go to this site cccoe.k12.ca.us/ Then you will go to human resources. Go to job opportunities, then go to salary schedule. Then click Certified .Alrite, thanks man.

http://www.cccoe.k12.ca.us/supe/hr/salary.html Tries this link, but that site will give you all the info. I have a masters and BA and other units, so I make more.
Rent is very high. That is the one down fall. There is not too much crime where I live, we have some, but not much. Walnut creek is very nice and is expensive too, but you can find some good deals.Last edited by Scottdau; 08-17-2007, 11:37 PM.Comment

later bro. Also, they are always looking for good teachers. Most teachers are scare of jail, but they don't know we have probation and they have our back. It is the best kept secret, once you get in you don't want to leave. lolComment

Re: BA in History
My friend told me about this... and another of my friends actually went to Japan to do this. He has been there two months.I don't know how "free" you are (wife, kids etc...) but you could take your BA and go teach English over in Asia. I have a friend that's going to do it in Japan, I've had friends go teach in Peru and Chile as well, and they've all loved it. Typically it pays well, they put you in a decent apartment, and you're good to go.
I know you don't want to be a teacher forever, but it would be something interesting to do for now, and who knows it may re-kindle your love of teaching...or you might bag some hot Asian chick who'se dad is the CEO of Samsung. Haha.
Personally I could never teach. I don't have the patience.Comment
