    Re: Sleepiness

    I'm tired right now.

Probably because it is 3:41am, though, and not some chronic problem.

Yeah, that whole going to sleep at 12:30 didn't work out for me.

I think I'm going to go make breakfast or something.

        Re: Sleepiness

One thing you might want to check is have someone like your girlfriend/wife monitor while you sleep. Check if you're breathing properly because it could be you have sleep apnea. My dad has that and was surprised how many time his sleep was interupted because he wasn't breathing properly while he was sleeping. He stayed the night at the hospital so they could monitor how many times he would stop breathing while he was sleeping. He has a machine now that helps him breath at night and he's full of energy the next day.

Good thing you don't have a chronic problem.

          I like your sig, too.

If not, you should. 20-40 minutes a day. Don't do it for any longer or you'll risk hitting REM sleep and then you'll be groggy the whole day unless you get your full 8 hours.

So, I would say take a 30 minute nap after class or between classes and it'll be extremely helpful.
I usually do that during the week. I work a couple of miles from my house. At least 3 days a week, I'll come home for lunch, make a sandwich, put it in the fridge, and then take a 30-minute nap. When I wake up, I grab the sandwich and then head back to work. I'm good to go the rest of the day. Still, I wish I didn't have to do that. I don't think I get enough sleep at night and hate feeling tired every day at around 10 AM or so. It sucks. I always sleep in on weekends unless there's something going on. I'll sleep some Saturday's and Sunday's until 11 or so. I know I shouldn't do that but I kind of like to sleep.
