Re: Ordering flowers...
See, thing with that is I'm at school...won't be able to go home in time to find a local florist around where I live (need the non-Halloween order for Friday) before they're needed.
However, I will probably use the local florist method for the flowers for my mom for Halloween.Comment

Re: Ordering flowers...
I think he means just find a local florist back home using the phone book (well, yahoo yellow pages) instead of just calling 1800 Flowers.See, thing with that is I'm at school...won't be able to go home in time to find a local florist around where I live (need the non-Halloween order for Friday) before they're needed.

If she can count to 100, say the alphabet and knows her shapes and colors, its fair game.
That was cold. I'll have you know that I can last quite a long time.
Last time I clocked myself, I actually got the condom completely on before climax.
Does she have a younger, more puberty stricken sister?
Yea, who wants a chick that's almost old enough to drink alcohol.

Re: Ordering flowers...
Still, don't have a phone book or anything at school, and by the time I find a place and all that, I could have already finished...so I'll just use the 1-800-flowers for the one I need this weekend, and then when I go home before Halloween I'll find a place near my house to order for my mom.Comment

Re: Ordering flowers...
Still, online places are cheaper a lot of times and a lot of times and that is pretty important. There are a couple local places in my area that have online ordering where you can see their flowers and I've used them before. But Pro Flowers (and 1800 flowers, FTD) has always been cheaper, delivered on time, and the flowers looked like they did on their webpage. I haven't gotten the same quality consistently from florists around town.
Also, I thought for same day and next day services (usually flowers are spur of the moment purchases for me) are filled by local florists, so they do get a cut from places like FTD if that's important to you. If they want the whole order they need to be as accessible online as the big online retailers to get my business. Quality, price, and accessibility are my big buying points.

Re: Ordering flowers...
I've used both 1-800 flowers and hallmark.com. I had a bad experience with 1-800 flowers (flowers were wilted and the arrangement was missing some thing). But if you use hallmark, you can usually go to google and type in Hallmark coupons and usually can find a 10% or 20% off coupon.

Re: Ordering flowers...
Obviously there are a lot of the major flower sites and you can't really go wrong with them. I've used FTD.com a lot and it got to the point where I made an account on there, so they send me e-mails with some pretty good deals in them.Comment
