Haha well I understand making something a running joke or whatever, that's fine. But there are plenty of people I know who I get into engaging conversations with when it comes to music or movies and then I always bring up a personal favorite of mine and ask them if they've seen it. If they say yes, I choose to continue with my point or discussion. If they say no, it's no big deal. I may recommend it to them, but there is absolutely no reason to get on them about not seeing something, especially if I probably only saw it for the first time in the last couple of years.

It got to the point that we got Netflix to send us the DVD, but he refused to ever watch it. It sat on the table next to the xbox/tv for months.

I still don't think he watched it.

I get peeved by all the NCAA online players. It is your choice to play a random person over the internet, so stop complaining.

Use the website to find good games and STFU.

All I see is the NCAA forum clogged with one problem somebody has and why it is a "game killer".

I know it's killing the NCAA forum for me. What happened to Operation Cleanup? I mean all these garbage threads day in day out by people crying.

I really hope mods start banning people for these threads. They are getting out of hand, IMO.

i think the term "game killer" should be banned from OS. a game killer would be something like the game freezing pretty much every time you play it, or having really HUGE glitches everywhere.. none of which have been in any recent video games (i think)


no video game is perfect, and it seems like people on OS sometimes expect them to be and get all upset when one thing is missing. like in madden 11, the uniforms dont get dirty, and if they do, its very spotty.. its obvious that something in the code is wrong. but a game killer? really? not even close.

See, that lead to some awesome moments for me, though.

When I'd wear a Texas hat around campus, or to a party, and some tool would come up to me and start **** about it and would then ask me to name five players from the football team. I'd proceed to name the entire starting offensive line and he'd look at me like: "What?"

Well it is the beginning of football season. I get excited for the games. If the Bengals lose or win I don't care all that much, but it is exciting to see football.

Gotcha. I can't tell you how many statuses came up on Facebook about the Bengals winning agianst Denver last week. Yet no one posts about the Reds winning and fighting for a playoff spot.

Yeah I had one friend going ape**** over every TD the Redskins scored against Buffalo (right?) last week. I mean not only is it a preseason game but a preseason game against one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Wouldn't surprise me. The games mean nothing in terms of W's and L's. Coaches just want to see what they have in terms of new players and forumulate depth charts...and pray that the starters don't get hurt in the brief time they're playing.

Yeah i still can't believe people gamble on it as well. Might as well *stupid analogy alert* put your money in a paper bag, get 2 paper bags and mix them around and throw one in the river. It's a 50/50 crapshoot.

A pet peeve of mine is two pretty closely related things. One is people not respecting your personal space (think the "close talker" off Seinfeld) and people with bad breathe. Unfortunately it seems its often the same person guilty of the two.
