lol, reminds me of a time I went to a subway(sandwich one) and had to use washroom. Didn't even realize until after that they didn't have any toilet paper. Thankfully I didn't have to use it to begin with or else that would've been an awkward situation.

Getting an hour-long phone call at 9PM from work telling me I need at work in time for a 5:30 AM meeting. Now it's after 10 and I suddenly need to be up in 6 hours.

I wouldn't have picked it up. That's super rude to call you that late and said you were already sleeping.

How does it take an hour to tell someone to come in early? Did they have Floyd Mayweather attempting to read the message to you??

They would have just kept calling and I do really need to be there for it. Unfortunately I don't really have the option of not answering due to the lack of people at work who know how to do my job.

I need some work done on my house, so I contacted a handful of contractors to get an estimate. The majority never replied.

I finally got an appointment with one. They sent me several reminders for the appointment. The day arrives, I make sure I'm home half an hour before the appointment. The guy never shows. I've tried contacting him to see what happened, but no reply.

                  Dealing with health insurance

I suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery. Health insurance says it's X-amount of $'s out of pocket MAXIMUM.

For this example let's say I'm $100 away from the maximum I can pay for the injury and I keep getting a bill for $300.

It's been two months and still no fix and it is still processing.

FWIW the $ is much bigger that's just an example

Been away from home and my wife for a few days. The day I travel back I wake up with a huge, nasty, disgusting cold sore on my upper lip.

I just wanna kiss my ****ing wife.

I'm sick of seeing people post pictures/videos where it's them with writing on note cards, paper etc.

Some of them have meaning, but it's just so annoying.

That's truly the worst part, the perception. I rarely get a cold sore, maybe once every other year. But to strangers, that dude must have herpes!

                            Technically, that's what it is.

My wife gets them more frequently but not as much in the last few years as her stress levels aren't as high. I was sick recently, combined with dry lips from the low temperatures, and a bit stressed making sure I was where I had to be on this last trip (and the walks to the convention center in sub zero wind chill didn't help).

Otherwise I've only ever been with one lady. I guess she probably passed it to me, and she got it from her Mom, who shared drinks and whatnot while having a cold sore with them as kids growing up. Gotta be careful. Wash hands before and after the bathroom, keep hands away from face, etc.

I never understood why some seem to think that people lose all sense of humanity once they become pro athletes.....like they are suddenly incapable of having real feelings about things like social issues or anything else and should just shut up because they make a lot of money. They aren't much different from the rest of us, some are cool as hell, some are complete a-holes, some are genuine, some are fake.....eh, just a thought..
