People who wait until AFTER they hit their breaks hard to then put on the turn signal. The signal should be a warning you are about to hit the breaks not the other way around.

GRRR!!! I was DVRing the playoff games because of various circumstances not allowing me to watch. Although, I prefer not to watch them live anyway, I hate commercials and halftime and would rather skip it. Anyway... I ranted earlier in this thread about people ruining scores and how it might be my ultimate pet peeve. Well, last week I made the mistake of coming to OS while DVRing the colts/jets game that I couldn't wait to watch. Off Topic ruined the score, but that one is my fault, I should know better than to go to a sports site while DVRing a national sporting event.
So today I leave no chance. I avoided OS all day, and the internet in general, just in case. No sports sites, no chat sites, nothing. I even went to a restaurant and positioned myself so I couldn't see any TVs. Keep in mind the only reason I had to record the Packers game last night was because I was hanging out at my friends house watching the Pistons game, I told him I would be watching it Sunday afternoon while recording the Sunday games.
Today, I start watching the game and more stuff comes up so I don't even get to finish it until 7 pm. At this point I'm excited about having 2 more games still to watch on my DVR, when that same buddy sends me a text about the jets/patriots game, the same game I just couldn't wait to watch tonight. I'm livid, he blew it. I cursed him out in a response text. His answer was "sry but u kno I hate Brady". Like that makes it ok? He KNEW I was recording them and he ruined the score anyway. Live in the Northeast here...After a snow fall, people who clear just enough snow to barely see out of the window... we had about 14 inches the other day and people dont clear off their cars..the next day its dangerous because it freezes and now chunks of ice flying around as they drive.. I am a die hard Bears fan and I HATE when we get bandwagon fans because of the playoffs. This is sure to happen now because they are in the NFC Championship. Chicago people who didn't watch the games will now LOVE DA BEARS FOREVER!! haha
I tend to lack respect for people who do that, I just look at it as being fake. Not cheering for a team and then success comes along and everyone loves them all of a sudden.Comment

Okay, you know how fans can't ever seem to keep a beat? This could be at a sports venue or in a concert, what have you. Like say they're supposed to be clapping and then suddenly they are going much more rapidly than the beat of the music. Seriously just clap on cue or STFU! (good rhyme)
The other example would be in a basketball game when a quarter is ending. You know when they count down "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..." well there are two problems with this. First of all, they end up counting so quickly that they are at 1 when there are still four seconds left. Secondly, they don't count correctly to start with even if they were on tempo! You know why? Because they start saying the number when the number first appears. Little did they know there's another digit to note, which is the decimal number. They say 10 when it's really 10.9, 6 when it's 6.9... etc. By the time they get to 1, there are still two seconds left on the clock. It's kind of embarrassing when you hear them finish counting down and it still takes a few seconds to buzz. Yeah, this is a big one of mine, as well because I don't watch most games live either. I watch a lot more now than I used to but, when I worked in retail and had to work every single Saturday and Sunday then I DVR'd a ton of games. I learned to just turn my phone off and avoid the internet all together. Even then I would still get the occasional game spoiler for me.
In fact I just had a game spoiled last week. I brought my girlfriend to Cirque du Soleil during the Saints/Seahawks game. During the show someone behind us said the score but, it was only in the second quarter so I was cool. After the show ended we were going out to eat and I tried to pick a restaurant without TV's. We went to Carabba's and at first I didn't notice but, there was a TV in the bar area that you could see from the area I was seated in. About half through the meal I noticed people looking so I peaked over my shoulder and saw the TV. Throughout the rest meal I didn't hear anything so, I had no idea what was going on but, as I was waiting on our waitress to run my card I overheard the table beside us say 'Oh we missed the onside kick". After that I pretty much knew what the deal was after that. I ended up going home and watching the last 3-4 minutes but, it wasn't as interesting because I knew the Saints had lost.

So if there's a backdoor Peavy slider that paints the outside corner and the batter takes it for strike three, she'll go, "That pitch was perfect and right down the middle, why didn't he swing?" I want to go on a tirade, but that will lead to her telling me not to be lippy. It's weird watching sports games with my mom. She asks me questions about some guy's actions and I want to be like, "The hell if I know!" She asks me like if I can enter their mind.
