People calling me a liar when they have no idea what the hell they are talking about. Or people putting words in my mouth in general.

I am not one to mince words well, but all that requires is a little more comprehension on the other end of things. Sorry if I can't spin things concisely. Doesn't make me wrong or dishonest.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I was at Walmart today walking towards the store from the parking lot. I see this girl putting her items in her car then barely push her cart out of the way so she could back up and leave as I guess she was too lazy to put it where it belongs. As she's getting in her car I walk by and push it back behind her car and walk away. I didn't see what she did but when I left a short while later the cart was gone. People need to stop being so damn lazy.

You know what really grinds my gears?

        *slow clap*

I always want to do that, but people are crazy nowadays. I don't want to get in to a fight as an adult over something like that. But I feel like they should know that that's not acceptable either. It's something so simple that takes maybe 20-30 seconds and is just a common courtesy.

Too much to ask, I know I know.

It was sort of the perfect situation as she was getting in her car when I did it so I don't think she noticed right away. It also helped I didn't have to move the cart very far.

Oh no. I would never confront somebody, but if the discussion arises its one of the few topics I don't back down on.

In an actual parking lot I'm the guy pushing all of the carts back to the front and stacking them properly.

This is really small and dumb and unimportant, but when people in the NFL forum start a game thread and don't follow the title format.

This annoys me, too. I really like visual continuity and conformity, and it just bothers me when something doesn't fit.

Was just thinking that a solution would be to tie the cart to the back of the car without them knowing so when they start driving and inevitably & frantically stop (because a phantom cart is chasing them), the cart will crash into their back bumper. That'll teach them.

People who try to make their job seem more "important and serious" than it actually is. If you work in the IT Industry(lazy field but easy to make real good money), then you definitely notice it quite often.

                        Example:

Me: "So what do you do?"

Other Person: "I'm a Level 1 Computer Systems Analyst that creates and assigns tickets to DSD"

Me: "You work at the Help Desk man, you know you didn't have to say all that, right?"

                        Stop being extra man, lol

People like to feel good about themselves but the vast majority of people in this world do absolutely nothing of relevance at all. And that's OK. It's just reality.

If someone asks me what I do I just say "I help my bosses with **** when they need it."

Windows 10 restarting out of the blue after a cumulative update. I have all the right options ticked, left the PC on to do other things, come back and it's sitting at the login screen, no warning.

I don't know if it's an OCD thing or what, but I feel like I have to grab a couple stranded carts while I walk up to the store and put them away.

Also, if there are large carts and small carts, I have to make sure the large carts are on one side and the small carts on the other. If it's a massive cluster in the corral I leave it be, but if there's like one or two stragglers in the wrong side I have to correct it

edit: I should point out I'm not a total cart philanthropist, if I pull into a space with feral carts sitting on either side of me, I'll let them sit and preserve the spaces so I won't have to deal with a giant van or truck sitting next to me when I walk back

Worse than this is when everyone else thinks your job is more important than it is.
