(Thread Crossover)
Uncommon Opinion: I don't give a **** about my bracket, I have Nova winning it all (a little biased, being from the Philly suburbs). But I couldn't care less. I care about watching exciting games, not if team x beats team y because of some artificial pick 'em game.
As a side note, it irks me when people make multiple brackets, then claim that they picked an upset correctly in one of their 14 different ones.Eagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
1. Two cars ahead of you, neither of which are going a "passing speed," side by side for a couple of miles. And you just know the one in the left lane has never checked the mirrors before. What are those?
2. Semis who are overzealous about passing other semis in densely crowded 2-lane areas. Yeah, you might have a deadline or whatever, but backing up traffic for several miles to execute a glacially slow passing move is a jerk move.
3. When you are in the passing lane and a car in the right lane suddenly speeds up as if to deny you that pass. Bro
4. The morons who come up from behind you in an instant going like 110 mph trying to weave in and out of fairly dense traffic. So not cool.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

My girlfriend's co-worker who picked up watching a show in the 6th season, and complained that she is confused. The entire show is on Netflix. She says she can't afford Netflix. She eats out for a $8+ lunch 2-3 times a week.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
My neighbor in the adjacent building who lets his puppy run wild in the parking lot, no leash or supervision. We share a parking lot with a busy restaurant off a busy road & busy intersection. The guy is on the maintenance team, the maintenance team once erroneously accused me of letting my dog poop in the restricted area. We're required to have our dogs on a leash at all times.
A couple days ago I was out with my dog in the designated area, on a leash as always, and noticed that dude way out in the field behind the parking lot calling and whistling for his dog. Couldn't find him. Eventually he walked over to me and asked if I saw his dog and I said nope. I'm all worried for the dog and texting my friends about it for the dogs sake, hoping he finds him and something bad didn't happen. Luckily the dog came back and was ok, but this guy didn't learn, he still lets him run free unsupervised.
Today I went out with my dog and his dog ran up on us, he's just doing curious puppy stuff trying to investigate, trying to charge, just normal stuff I can't blame the dog for doing. The guy who lives below me, the music blaster and who stands around outside by himself awkwardly (I swear I've mentioned him before) who also happens to be a registered sex offender with a windowless van (and a fellow registered sex offender who cruises around in the van with him) was out doing his standing routine, began laughing and shouting inaudibly.
I hate this place
(eventually the owner came out and grabbed the dog, but still... in a weird twisted way I hope the owner gets hit by a car while trying to retrieve the dog, sick irony I know)Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I get so angry when people don't have their dogs on leashes. Do you actually think that dog won't be a dog and chase something that catches its attention?
I just don't feel people like that should be able to own pets. When you don't take care of your dog it usually doesn't end well.
I put my dogs on a tie out every time they go out. They do a good job of staying in their normal area, but I wouldn't risk it.Comment
